The Mass Casualty Vehicle comes with a 6-bedded patient capacity and critical care facilities such as advanced life support devices, Portable Ventilator, Patient Monitor, Syringe Pump, Infusion Pump, Defibrillator, Oxygen Concentrator, ECG Machine, Ultrasound Machine and other Infectious control instruments. These are Nepal’s first Mass Casualty Vehicles. The vehicle is also equipped with a CCTV camera and can be monitored centrally.
Commenting on the occasion, Chandra Dhakal, said, "This fully-equipped Mass Casualty Vehicle is a first-of-its-kind in Nepal and it will definitely aid in the treatment of the patient on-site and mass transfer of patients from the disaster site to a nearby tertiary hospital." Furthermore, he added, the mortality rate can be reduced during the transport from casualty site to tertiary hospital as the vehicle itself is a small moving hospital.
IME Motors offers a wide range of commercial vehicles from Truck, Tipper, Bus and Light Commercial Vehicles to Defense Vehicles for Special Purposes, Special Ambulance, Mortuary Van and other vehicles suitable for the Nepalese Market.
